Division Manager Infrastructure Division (m/f/d)

Your position in our crew
General
The Division Manager «Infrastructure Division» is responsible for the optimized planning and execution of the Maintenance and Repair of the Infrastructure and equipment on the Royal Brunei Navy Base and ten (10) camps outside of the Base with the respective team. In this context he is also responsible for the relevant resources, material requisition and documentation.
The Division Manager «Infrastructure Division» will plan and coordinate the work tasks, the resources (infrastructure, manpower, OEM, and subcontractor) and the material requirements. If necessary, he will coordinate resources with the Heads of the respective Divisions.
The Division Manager «Infrastructure Division» reports directly to the Technical Managing Director.
The Division Manager «Infrastructure Division» will support the preparation of cost calculations and the related specifications for the repair or upgrade of infrastructure and equipment in cooperation with the Management Assistant for Calculations and the other Division Managers. He has to check the cost calculations for plausibility.
The Division Manager «Infrastructure Division» will prepare with his team upgrade- and repair proposals for the infrastructure and equipment and support the negotiations with the customer. He will be also a contact person for the Technical Liaison Officer of the customer.
Area of Responsibility/ Tasks
Planning, coordinating and execution of maintenance tasks, resources, and material for an optimized workflow under consideration of the Customer requirements.
Planning, coordination and execution of tests and certification of safety relevant equipment
Planning, coordination and execution of certification and calibration for Special Tools and Test Equipment
Coordination between the Divisions, Customer, Subcontractor, and other Stakeholder
Regularly updates of the Infrastructure Usage and Upkeep Plan
Preparation of regular reports.
Updates of technical documentation and maintenance task lists
Proactively conducting of lessons learned
Compliance with the Quality Management requirements
Compliance with the HSE requirements
Support for the definition of Maintenance budgets for the fiscal year (e.g. personnel, training, tools, equipment, material and overhauls)
Regularly evaluation/assessment of the employees and execution of performance appraisals (interviews)
Scheduling and selection of training activities for MMS and customer personnel
What's in your kitbag
Education
Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineer with master's or bachelor's Degree or similar education
Training in Maintenance planning as well as resource and material planning
Training in Maintenance activities is of advantage.
Training in economically management is of advantage
Skills
Fluent in Technical English (written and spoken)
Good knowledge in maintenance planning tools
Good knowledge of engineering principles and techniques on infrastructure
Cost awareness
Good knowledge of MS Office and common software applications (ERP System)
Experience with start-ups of organization of advantage.
Experience with Government programs in the Asian Region of advantage
Experience
5 years professional experience in Maintenance planning
5 years professional experience in Infrastructure and / or equipment maintenance
5 years professional experience in office management
Abilities
Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
Good communication and diplomatic skills
Enthusiastic, open for innovation and capability to motivate employees.
